The logo of Major League Baseball has been designed by a man named Jerry Dior in 1968. It was included in all employee uniforms baseball field from the beginning of the 1969 season of baseball.

Jerry Dior created the logo in one afternoon. Contrary to what some believe, the human figure was not really a player model in particular. Actually, it was established by reference to the photographs several players.

A dispute over the authorship of the famous logo has lasted many years, two designers sought to create. A man named Jerry Dior, who worked for the company's marketing Sandgren & Murtha and the other was James Sherman, a comic book illustrator.

In November 2008, after having carefully examined the logo, James Sherman reported that the famous logo in fact is not its purpose.

In his statement, James Sherman said he had no knowledge of the sport logo, but it created the logo was very similar. Also considered a total idiot, and shocked!

It proved outstanding and popular logo of Major League Baseball, becoming an internationally recognized logo. I can not think of any other logo in any other sport that is more easily recognizable logo of Major League Baseball. I think almost all who put their eyes on the logo almost certainly know what is and what the sport to which he belongs.
